Moving from automatic reaction to intentional response

We don’t respond to every person or situation in the same way. At work we may become more directive, at home more accommodating, and in coaching more curious — until pressure, habit or our own anxiety pulls us back into familiar patterns. In this webinar, Alan Brereton explores what it means to consciously switch into “Coach Mode” as a leader, parent, colleague or professional coach. We’ll look at the instinct to fix and advise, how our default responses change across different relationships, and how greater self-awareness can help us move from automatic reaction to more intentional response.

Kingstown College would love to invite you to a series of Professional Development Webinars over the coming months. Each webinar will discuss coaching tools you can use in your practice with your clients.

If you attend four of the webinars, you are entitled to CPD certificate for your accreditation.

Please note:

• You will only need to register once for all the series. You will receive a reminder email with the Zoom link a few hours before each session.
• If there are break out rooms planned for a webinar, we will inform you at the start of the session. Please note that you are not required to join a break out room, if you do not feel comfortable to do so.
• We can send the Certificate of Attendance only at the end of the series with all hours attended (one certificate per learner only), minimum of 4 hours.
• Your full name and email must be used on Zoom for all sessions you join, as we will use those details to check hour attended and issue CPD certs. I we cannot identify your full name and/or email, we will not be able to issue a certificate.
• Certificates will be sent only to learners that request it by email to [email protected]
