The Advanced Diploma in Corporate Wellbeing Coaching is focused on equipping coaches and organisations with the knowledge, skills and confidence to get ahead of wellbeing challenges and empower the coachee and employee to redesign their working day and working life.

In this Diploma we will explore the impact Corporate Wellbeing can have within organisations including Corporate Wellbeing roles and responsibilities in organisations and effective coaching tools.

Overview of the Course Modules

The Advanced Diploma in Corporate Wellbeing Coaching is open to graduates of a Kingstown College coaching diploma or equivalent ICF or EMCC accredited course.
It is structured in 3 Modules, facilitated in a Live Virtual Class and delivered over approximately 12 weeks. Each module runs over 3 evenings. The teaching methodology will include lecture style, discussions, Q&A and breakout rooms to practice models with your peers.
Note: The foundational component of the course for Kingstown College graduates consisted of PDCM Modules 1–3. Please refer here if you wish to review it.
A Global Perspective
Reviewing the results of the Corporate Wellbeing Survey from Kingstown College along with other prominent research, examining wellbeing theories, and the roles and responsibilities of HR, Line Managers and Senior Leaders in Corporate wellbeing.

Course Information

Teaching Methodology

The content of this course requires the learner to participate and put the theory into practice. The live virtual class is an interactive experience which includes lecture style delivery of content, group discussion, coaching session breakouts with other learners, and feedback on performance. Your tutor is experienced in delivering this content and will regularly monitor your performance in coaching breakout rooms.

Entry Requirements

This is open to graduates of a Kingstown College coaching diploma or equivalent. If you are not a graduate of Kingstown College you will be required to submit course work from your previous ICF or EMCC accredited course, and may be invited to a short interview. There are no other academic entry requirements for this course. Learners are expected to have a positive attitude for learning, collaborating with others and self development. A competent level of English will also be required to engage with the live classes, coaching sessions and written assessments.

Certification

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be awarded the Advanced Diploma in Corporate Wellbeing Coaching from Kingstown College. This award can be used to satisfy the education requirement for a coaching credential / accreditation with EMCC Practitioner Level.

Assessments

This course is assessed in line with the competencies of the accrediting organisation (EMCC). Therefore, traditional percentage grading is replaced by an Achieved/Not Achieved assessment on the competencies. Your assessments include

  • Reading – One prescribed coaching book and one journal article
  • Coaching – 4 coaching sessions, including a recorded skills demonstration
  • Writing – Reflective Essay (5000 words)

Note: Accreditation with EMCC is an optional next step for learners. For those using coaching as a leadership style, it may not be necessary but will be available in the future. Each accrediting organisation has a different set of rates, but as a guide, a 3 year renewal is approx EUR 500.
