Coaching Women in Leadership

Judith Spring

What are the themes that show up in the coaching session for women in the workplace? How do we navigate those conversations as the coach? Judith Spring shares statistics and insights from her experience as an executive coach and a facilitator of Women in Leadership programmes. Looking at strengths behind perceived weaknesses, moving from mate to manager and fitting into a mans world without becoming a man, all feature in this keynote. Judith also challenges us as coaches to ensure we are not bringing our beliefs and experiences into the coaching room.

Paula King

Successfully introducing coaching to spaces that were previously perceived as off-limits is just one of the gifts of Paula King, CEO of Kingstown College. In this keynote, Paula takes uses the ROSE model to show how the coaching conversation can serve clients who may be experiencing loss or bereavement. She looks at how the coach can sensitively challenge belief systems, how neuroscience can help to shape new patterns of behaviour, and how we need optimism to optimise our performance.

The Language of Coaching and Mentoring

What conversation habits do you have? Any pre-programmed answers to questions? In this keynote, Alan Brereton challenges our language, and particularly how we show up as the coach and mentor. A particular focus is placed on the questions we ask in our coaching conversations, and Alan invites us to tidy up those questions. The idea of asking short objective questions which will lead to long subjective answers is a key takeaway from this important check-in for the coach and mentor.

Inside Paypal’s Coaching and Leadership Culture
