Jennifer McCartney

Jennifer McCartney is a Senior Leadership Development Specialist, Programme Designer, and qualified psychologist with over 20 years’ experience working with global organisations across the US, EMEA, and APAC. She specialises in designing and delivering large-scale leadership and organisational development programmes that drive measurable performance, engagement, and behavioural change.

Jennifer combines deep expertise in leadership psychology with a practical, applied approach to learning. As an executive coach and experienced facilitator, she is particularly known for translating complex psychological concepts into clear, actionable leadership practices. Her work focuses on building coaching capability, strengthening performance conversations, and enhancing team effectiveness in real-world organisational contexts.

She previously served as Director of Talent Development & Leadership at PayPal, where she led global programmes supporting over 1,500 leaders, and as Senior Training Manager, where she developed award-winning leadership curricula including the Team Leader Academy. In addition to her corporate work, Jennifer lectures at postgraduate level in Dublin City University, specialising in organisational culture, leadership, and change.

Jennifer holds a First Class MSc in Applied Psychology and is accredited in a range of leading coaching and psychometric frameworks, including EQ-i 2.0, Hogan, and MBTI. She is also a certified PMP, Achieve Global Master Trainer, international conference speaker, and published contributor to The Washington Post.
