Dyddgu Hywel is a Faculty Member with Kingstown College and an Executive Wellbeing Coach with a specialist interest in high performance habits, sustainable leadership and organisational wellbeing. A former Wales international rugby player, she built a distinguished career at the elite level and represented her country with consistency, resilience and pride.

Dyddgu is known for her work ethic, commitment and ability to elevate the performance of every environment she steps into. Her pioneering presence in Welsh rugby broadcasting established her as a respected bilingual voice in sport and media.

Alongside her sporting career, she has built a strong academic and professional foundation. She holds a First Class Honours degree in Education with Qualified Teacher Status, a Master’s in Education and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Before moving into full time coaching and consultancy, she worked as a Principal Lecturer and strategic leader at Cardiff Metropolitan University, where she developed programmes, mentored emerging professionals and contributed to long term educational strategy.

As a Leadership and Executive Wellbeing Coach, Dyddgu believes that sustainable high performance is created through clarity, consistency and human centred habits. She combines elite sport discipline with behavioural science and practical leadership tools to help individuals and organisations thrive.

Alongside her role with Kingstown College, Dyddgu runs her own coaching and wellbeing consultancy, supporting high performing organisations and leaders across sectors. Her work includes executive coaching, wellbeing strategy, keynote speaking and panel contributions, where she is recognised for her grounded presence, cultural fluency and ability to turn complex ideas into practical action. She credits her sporting background for shaping the resilience, teamwork and leadership qualities that continue to guide her professional success.
