Anna Rooney
Anna is an EMCC accredited Executive Coach and a faculty member at Kingstown College, bringing over three decades of experience in Business Mentoring and Consultancy, Personal and Professional Coaching, and Community Development Programmes.
In addition to her coaching qualifications, Anna holds a Masters in International Entrepreneurship Management, a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy and Audit, a Diploma in Medicine, and training in Conflict Resolution and Mediation. She seamlessly integrates theoretical acumen and practical understanding into her coaching and mentoring approach.
Her guiding philosophy centres on the transformative power of continuous education, training, and personal development. Anna’s commitment to fostering diversity and integration has earned her recognition from Presidents Mary McAleese and Michael D. Higgins.
She represented Ireland on the European Integration Forum in Brussels for three years, and her commitment to community development was acknowledged with the prestigious Top European Leader Award for the ‘Most Effective Engagement with Citizens at the Local Level.’
Beyond her professional pursuits, Anna is enthusiastic about volunteering and, over the years, has actively engaged in various management committees and mentoring panels. Recently, she was appointed as the Chairperson of Employability Limerick. In both her voluntary and professional endeavours, her values align with integrity, transparency, and accountability.
Anna’s passions extend to photography, lifelong learning, and intergenerational wisdom sharing. At the core of her coaching style is positive psychology, combining action-based approaches with a touch of humour – something she considers essential!
